Sophie is an experienced employment lawyer with a background in advising large commercial and public sector clients, having previously worked for a city firm. She advises on both contentious and non-contentious matters, and provides clear and pragmatic advice to clients to help find solutions that balance both legal and commercial requirements.
Sophie deals with all types of Employment Tribunal claims for employers and employees, including complex, high profile and high value claims. In addition, she advises on a broad range of employment law issues including grievances, disciplinary issues, long term sickness, restructuring and redundancy, outsourcing, agency workers and TUPE.
Sophie also advises on and/or drafts all types of employment-related documentation including employment contracts, policies and procedures, employee handbooks, consultancy agreements and settlement agreements. She also drafts employment law updates for clients and presents seminars on a variety of employment law issues
