Fiona advises on contract issues, employment, and partnership particularly in SME’s and family businesses. She focuses on finding a satisfactory commercial conclusion to suit the client’s needs, speedily and in a sympathetic manner using her experience of more than 25 years’ at Mundays from formation of the business through to breakdown.
She gives “Independent Legal Advice” where required to protect individual clients in a range of circumstances such as personal guarantees, divorce fees loans, life time mortgages and “bank of mum and dad” contributions to property purchases.
Fiona also focuses on work with an international aspect, as a key contact and former director of CICERO, League of International Lawyers, the network of international law firms of which Mundays is a founder member, and as former Chair of the International Employment Group within Cicero.
Fiona grew up on Tyneside where she initially practiced law before joining Mundays. She has a home in the north where she spends vacation time on her lifetime renovation project of an old farm. She is a part time “eco-warrior” who is passionate about her electric Nissan Leaf and buying her milk in bottles! She supports many environmental charities and is a Member of the charity Surrey Care Trust.
Fiona has a PGDip in employment law and is a member of Employment Lawyers Association.
