Mundays staff, clients and friends recently braved torrential rain to run a very wet "Fun Run" in Royal Bushy Park to raise funds for Princess Alice Hospice Esher. 187 runners participated and covered the 5k course at varying levels of running and walking. The amount raised was a staggering £3710.00 and we now want to turn this into an annual event.
We did not have sunshine but the runners all showed their support by wearing the hospice colour of sunshine yellow and all enjoyed the event regardless of the weather!
Charlotte East of Mundays came up with the Fun Run idea as she has always enjoyed running and is a member of the Great Britain Age Group Duathlon team. Charlotte started a firm running club and has actively encouraged many members of Mundays staff to get fit and take up running.
