As an entrepreneur, business owner or leader you know all too well the competing calls on your time, focus and energy as you drive your business forward day by day. You know there is no one silver bullet. And if dealing with the urgency of the current opportunity or threat means that the more strategic tasks have to be delayed, AGAIN, well that’s the price we pay. Richard Maybury will share a selection of his proven productivity principles, behaviours and technology tweaks with us. So, whether you are always looking to improve your performance or just want to win at work a little easier, this Forum is for you. This Forum will also include table discussions which will be led by Richard.
Mundays’ Business Forum aims to bring together business owners and executives in an informal environment, to learn from each other and exchange ideas and solutions to some of the challenges that you face. The Forum takes place three times a year with a sit down buffet lunch, guest speaker and an open “Forum Discussion”. Our speakers come from a wide range of backgrounds and businesses, and each with an interesting story to tell. They have all been picked to provide ideas and inspiration to take back to your own business.
GUEST SPEAKER – Richard Maybury, Managing Consultant – Attitude Solutions
Richard has been equipping and enabling his clients to manage their competing priorities and deliver their business critical results easier every day for almost 20 years. He works with SMEs, FTSE250 and Fortune500 companies. The common denominator among all his clients is that their ambition outstrips their resource and they want to give their people the best possible opportunity to deliver their best work regardless of the demands of the day.
He calls what he does ‘Welding Purpose to Priorities’ and his core workload management programme delivers an average of 53 minutes extra productive capacity per person per day – measured one month after the training. Prior to this, he was a Chartered Insurer working in Corporate Risks within the London Market. He has also lived and worked overseas, running insurance operations in Africa, Middle East and Far East for almost 15 years. He is probably the only person you will meet who has scuba-dived Mount Kilimanjaro!
