Mundays invites you to an informal morning at Brooklands Museum to join local business women over coffee and pastries to build your local professional network.
We are delighted that Tamalie Newbury, Museum Director & CEO will do a brief ‘Gear Sticks and Lipsticks’ talk. Discover the speed, glamour and endeavour that made Brooklands a household name for much of the Twentieth Century and the pioneering women that raced, flew and worked there. From the first woman to gain a pilot’s licence in the UK in 1911 to the workforce of World War Two in the Aircraft Factories, you will learn about the unparalleled contribution that women have made to Brooklands’ rich and varied history.
After networking, there will be an opportunity to see the collections of cars, exhibition areas and experience working life in the award-winning Brooklands Aircraft Factory.
We encourage you to please bring a colleague with you and advertise this event to other female professionals who might like to join us.
