Join us for our annual Charity 5k Fun Run on Wednesday 13 May 2020 at 1830. This year Mundays celebrates our 60th birthday so to celebrate we’re encouraging all participants to wear 60s themed fancy dress, but of course it’s not mandatory (especially for those of you looking for a PB – although who knows what a pair of very loud patterned running shorts might do for you!).
The run is in aid of Princess Alice Hospice in Esher. The Hospice have provided free end of life care to adult patients since 1985 and we have now raised over £60,000 for them from our Charity 5k. Please help us add to that total in 2020.
Given the hugely positive reaction we got to our move last year to the historic 18th century landscape gardens of Painshill Park in Cobham we will be returning again this year. Runners will be able to take in the beautiful vistas across the lake, to the Five Arch Bridge, the Gothic Folly and the vineyard.
This is a great team building event, so bring along your friends or colleagues from work and your supporters. Run as an individual or compete for the team prizes.
The Hospice is expected to run the ever popular cake stall plus we will have chip timing provided by Sports Systems and free professional photographs to download after the event from Sussex Sport Photography. Stay for refreshments after the run also.
The entry fee is £18 but please make an additional donation if you are able to do so.
