Trivia with Tarrant
Mundays’ lawyers and Princess Alice Hospice Friends Extra volunteers, Lorna Palmer and Julian Harvey, assisted Friends Extra Chair, Jane Hargrave, in raising in excess of £6500 at the Trivia with Tarrant quiz held at The Woodlands Park Hotel, Stoke D’Abernon on Friday 23rd October with Hospice Vice President and star of “Who Wants to be a Millionaire?”, Chris Tarrant as the quiz master.
Mundays’ partners, Miles Unwin and Stephen Morris gave their full support to the event by setting an excellent set of questions and were helped on the evening by lawyer, Alex Young and trainee solicitor, Mark Wheeler. With the standard sports, film, history and literature rounds there was something to interest and challenge everyone.
Mundays has supported the Hospice since it was founded over 23 years ago with former senior partner, Peter Munday, acting as trustee. In addition to other fund raising events organised by the firm throughout the year, Julian Harvey and Mundays’ partner, Denham Bell, also organise the Princess Alice Hospice Golf Society which has raised over £75,000 for the Hospice in the 12 years that it has been running.
Princess Alice Hospice is a registered charity based in Esher, Surrey providing care across Surrey, south west London and Middlesex. The charity provides specialist end of life and palliative care for adult patients and support to their families at the Hospice and in patient homes.
